Waynetown, May 4- Winfield Scott Switzer, 87, who was known to his friends and associates as Scott Switzer, died Sunday night at 10:30 o'clock at his home here. He had been ill since Feb 3 with a kidney ailment. Born Feb 18, 1855, near Yountsville, the son of Abraham and Isabel Donaldson Switzer, he was married to Sarah Ellis Moore of near Waynetown Feb 6, 1877, the wife preceding him in death July 3, 1926. Mr. Switzer had been a resident of Waynetown 55 years. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Berth Venis of Waynetown, Mrs. Cora Stalnaker of Indianapolis and Mrs. Minnie Barnett also of Waynetown; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Alice Mae Weir died Sept 26, 1939. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Grenard Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Albritton officiating. Burial will be at Waynetown Masonic cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the late residence preceding the rites on (?) the body will be kept there until Wednesday noon - kbz
